SOUND. WAVES. builds on the legacy of Music Cork, a beloved boutique music business event that ran until 2019. Founded by Alexis Vokos, Willie Ryan, and Jim Lawless, and now joined by Joe Clark and Colm Hanley, the team set out to create a fresh, international-facing event for today’s music and podcasting landscape.

Music and podcasting are deeply connected—through shared audiences, creative processes, distribution channels, and the powerful bond between creators and fans.

Set in Adare, Co. Limerick, SOUND. WAVES. offers an intimate space for networking and socialising, echoing Music Cork’s spirit while forging new connections.

Kathryn Mason of MASONRY PR spearheads the All-Ireland Podcast Awards. As a key figure and a dedicated champion of the Irish audio industry, she has been instrumental in building this new awards from the ground up to honour Ireland's audio creators. 

By hosting the All Ireland Podcast Awards alongside its inaugural edition, SOUND. WAVES. celebrates the vibrant growth and achievements of Ireland’s music and podcasting industries.
